All that many young children ever want to eat is ice cream. If their parents refuse to supply them this for breakfast, dinner and supper, are they being mean? People who give us exactly what we want or tell us what we are most keen to hear, are not necessarily the folk who have our best interests at heart. It may well be that they want something from us. Likewise, we must think carefully before we say what will make us popular. Be diplomatic by all means in May, but stay well within the bounds of integrity then the month will be truly good for you.
