ESXi5 update
issue
when I try to update a ESXi5, it failed with the messege:
The host XXX returns esxupdate error code:7. Cannot download VIB.
Check the Update Manager log files and esxupdate log files for more details.
Searched around and someone was saying tring the following:

~ # cat /var/log/esxupdate.log | grep -i "vmware-fdm" -A3

Manually removed it...
~ # esxcli software vib remove -n=vmware-fdm
Removal Result
Message: Operation finished successfully.

VIBs Removed: VMware_bootbank_vmware-fdm_5.0.0-623373
VIBs Skipped:
However, after I run "esxcli software vib remove -n=vmware-fdm" I got
[NoMatchError]
No VIB
matching VIB search specification 'vmware-fdm'.
Please refer
to the log file for more details.
reboot the server try again, still no luck. Called VMSupport and have to disabe HA and DSR, then try it, worked.
but this is not a solution, the tech also says maybe can run "VMware-fdm-uninstall.sh" to avoi disable cluster HA and DSR.
~ # cd /opt/vmware/
/opt/vmware # ls
fdm
uninstallers vpxa
/opt/vmware # cd uninstallers/
/opt/vmware/uninstallers # ls
VMware-fdm-uninstall.sh
/opt/vmware/uninstallers #
