  Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck.

2. 遵循“３Ｒ”原则：尊重自己，尊重他人，为自己所有的行为负责。

  Follow the three R's: Respect for self -- Respect for others and -- Responsibility for all

  your actions.

3. 要学会“游戏规则”。这样你才会懂得如何按规则办事，不违反规则。

  Learn the rules so you know how to work around them properly without breaking them.

4. 记住：沉默有时是最好的回答。

  Remember that silence is sometimes the best answer.

5. 分享知识——这才是不朽之路。

  Share your knowledge. It's a way to achieve immorta1ity.

6. 要以你为成功所付出的代价来衡量你的成功。

  Judge your success by what you had to give up in order to get it.

7. 不要根据外表判断一个人，而要看他／她如何应付雨天或者丢失行李这样的“不幸”境况。

  Judge a person not by appearance but by the way he/she handles a rainy day or a lost 

  luggage.

8. 弄清楚“生存”和“生活”的区别。

  Learn the difference between making a "living" and making a "life."

9. 明白“今天”是所有过去经历和将来各种可能性的总和。“今天”是一个恩赐。这就是“今天”被称

   为 “礼物”（当下）的原因。

  Learn that Today is the sum of all your past experiences and future potentials. Today is a

   gift. That's why it's called the present.

10. 明白你需要学习的东西还有很多。

   Learn that you still have a lot to learn.
