看图写话精彩生成

        七年级下册Unit 6 I'm watching TV.  主题为“人与社会”,话题为日常生活和打电话,语法为初步学习现在进行时。课本安排的单元作文为:请带一些朋友或家人的照片到学校,也可以画一些图片,写写照片中的人。(Bring in some photos of your own or draw some pictures of you and your family or friends and write about them.)
          教材意图很明显:让学生练习用现在进行时写话。但现实是:由于手机的普及,学生家里洗出的照片很少,即便有,也基本是摆拍,很难说清正在做什么。如果画画,受绘画水平的影响,也难以全面铺开。思考再三,决定到网上搜一张单幅照片,给学生练习写作,运用现在进行时。于是找到了下面这幅图:

         说实在的,虽然画面有一家四口人,但活动很简单,本想借助这幅图简单练练现在进行时。实际上课的效果却非常令人意外,生成了很多精彩的句子,远远超过我的预期。课堂实录如下:
T:  Boys and girls ,Look at the big screen. Here is a picture for you.  It's a picture of the Blacks. How many peopl are there in the family?(S : Four.) What are they?
S1: They are Mr. Black, Mrs. Black , Tom and Ann.
T: Great.  Watch the picture carefully. Guess: Where are they and what are they doing?
S2: I think they are having a pinic in the park. 
T: You are so smart. I'm proud of you. Anyone else?
S3: Maybe they are playing in the wild.
S4: Maybe they are relaing in the nature.
T: So excellent! Let's pay attention to each one of them.  Look at the boy, what's he doing?
S5: He is flying a kite.
T: I agree with you. The boy is flying a kite happily. What about the girl? What's Ann doing?
S6: I think she is eating something or drinking jucie.
S7: Maybe she is playing the toys because she is a little girl.
S8: Maybe she is sleeping on the grass.
S9: I think she is using a smart phone.(Laughing)
S10: Maybe she is reading a book.
S11: Maybe she is drawing a picture.
S12: Maybe ...

T: All of you are so tanlented. Now let's watch Mr. Black and Mrs. Black. What are they doing? 
S13: They are sitting on the grass. And they are talking.(T: Yeah, what else?)
S14: Mr. Black is thinking. Mrs. Black is watching the kite.
S15: Mr. Black is watching his daughter Ann.
T: (Nodding)Aneone else?
S16: I think Mrs. is doing yoga.(Clapping)
(该生 Shi Zihang的妈妈是瑜伽教练,能想得到并用英语说出,意料之外,又在情理之中。)
T: Now can you write about the pictrue?(生兴致勃勃地埋头写作。)
         该教学片段的至少有如下妙处:
         1. 由于图片有一定的模糊性,如画中女孩Ann背面对着读者,这就为学生生成大量的句子创造了条件; 2. 教师主导教学进程,但完全以学生为主体,自始至终,学生观察、思考、表达,先后达20人次左右起来参与互动;3. 写作遵循先说后写的原则,为学生搭建支架,降低写作难度;4. 让学生依据黑板板书大胆表达,不是条条框框,放胆去写,在修改环节,适当指点安排结构和衔接,显示教学的层次和学习的梯度;5. 网络资源和信息技术的运用要恰当,有时并不需要连篇累牍的课件,本节课虽只呈现一张图,效果实佳。
