when men say:” when I think of why I make pictures( you could use any substitute here), the only reason I can think of just seems that I have been making my way here. Seems right now, that all I have ever done in my life was making my way here to you.”

Instead of moved into tears as Francesca did in the movie of The Bridge of Madison County, I almost vomited upon hearing this, what a phony! What a hypocrite!

Robert is right, he was honesty with her what he was. So what he is? He implied in his lascivious story: “there is no judgment about it no right or wrong or imposed morality. It’s just life. It’s a voyeurs paradise really because those animals don’t want anybody in their business.”

He does not care she is married with children or how the society will think of them. He is animal, she is animal, an infidelity wife, he is fire, she is dried hey, they just met at right time. No moral, no judgment, no any other’s business. To Francesca, it’s just an exciting experience as she premeditated. To Robert, he is just true to be himself as an experienced lover, when someone comes on to you, why not just take it.

But why Francesca could not be true to herself? She teased him first, buckled her knees in front of him. Is this kind of “love” strong enough to let her leave her family and stay with Robert make a new start? Certainly not. It’s not moral to restraint her body, if it’s so, why have the guts to cheat on her husband and does not care how the neighbors think of her? As the Redfield woman already set up a good example for her.

Ironically this kind of “love” lasts in her rest of life, even when she becomes ash she wants to be with her. Now infidelity becomes great, romantic and supportive in the movie, is this subject the movie itself tried to send?
