杂谈

After watching this movie, for a long time, I feel myself still lingers in the movie and reluctant to come back to life as it touches my soul.

I had similar experience too as Charlotte, in a foreign city though I could communicate with locals by English. My ex-boyfriend worked in the daytime, came back late evening, most of the time I walked around on the streets, wandered about in different shops, no company, no friend. I wished I could run into someone who is in the same situation as me, so we could hang out together, help each other take photos, and compare notes on the itinerary thus enrich our respective trips.

I appreciate the actor named Bill Murray, his performance is great which fascinated me. In the movie, he and Charlotte both are lonely, both are abandoned by his family and her husband, both need some affection, some compassion, but not sex. So even when they lay in the bed, they did not have sex. Sex does not help relieve their loneliness, only would mess up their simple and obscure relationship, or even worsen or deepen the loneliness. Because both know they will soon be separated and be faded away in each other’s life, so it’s better to keep distance between each other and not let sex ruin this romantic and beautiful meanwhile a little melancholy relationship.

When you watch here, you would feel you have similar situation too.

Life still continues, and we are still searching for in the lost world.
