在Gaga从小到大遭受过如此多的诽谤、误解、和审判后，她最终找到了自我。这个自我，就是她把自己做为一件上帝惊天辟地的造物贡献给世人，她的一举一动，无论台上台下，都是行为艺术。

她说，不要问真正的Gaga是什么样，你们看到的，就是真正的我。她说，我绝对、从来不在Gaga和Stephanie (Gaga的旧名）之间做区分. 有摄像机和没摄像机，都一样。她说，我是娱乐圈的原型（"I am an archetype of show business.")

她是注意力磁石，但是她不只是吸引注意力，更是引领注意力(not just attention getting, but attention directing) 。
