From today, I am gonna to write down my daily
life, whom I bump into in the corner, what I read
recently, what I am doing and how I
feel. Then one day when I
retrospect, I will feel my life is fulfilled and everything that
has happened is not in vain.
The witch of Portobello described a a woman's
awakening journey told
by other people's(who knew her well or barely knew
her at all). Being abondoned when she was born, witnessed the wars
when she was young and evacuated from Lebanon as refugees with her
adoptive parents, got divorced
when her hubby was unable to confront the pressure as a new daddy,
she was suffered a lot as a womam who might get wounded. However,
it was through these traumas that she, Athena, finally grew up and
got connected to the Great Mother inside
and became a healer.

Why we have to experience those bitter scars? We are gentle and
mild, we are nice and warm-hearted, we are smart, we help those in
need and we work hard to support ourself and families. But why?
Sometimes I myself wept crazily in the midnight, for the past
wounds and unfair treatment towards me, you could say I am way too
sentimental, but when god creates a woman, he purposedly makes the
woman more soft and lithe, I think it is his desire to differ
woman from men by their emotions
besides physical body.
There is a saying "woman is made by water", through the tears
we shed, we washed up the impurities and evils and
wounds as well. But let us come back to the question "why we have
to suffer from pain", well, the growth happens when we confront
pains and griefs, or to name it redemption from
tears is more appropriate.
I do not know how much exactly aches and pains we will have
to suffer in the life and future, but I believe
everything happens is meaningful. What I could do when my friends
or students pour out their pains in front of me, I can smily tell
them "Don't worry, I have been there".
To be continued.
