课文内容:
Xiaolan: Look in this box, Jack.
Jack: What’s in it?
Xiaolan: A hat and …
Xiaolan: It’s yellow. It’s a yellow hat.
教材分析:
本节课我依据所选话题——颜色,参照小学英语EEC教材三年级下册第四课关于此话题的教学内容,对其进行了重组加工,选择了六种颜色进行会话练习。扩充了五个表示颜色的词汇,同时也扩展了对话内容,使学生对本节课的主要表达能够灵活运用,丰富了学生的语言知识。结合学生已有语言水平和实际需要,创设了联系生活实际的英语教学情境,让学生在不知不觉中感知,自然习得新的语言知识,把学习与生活紧密地联系在一起,使英语教学变得更简单,更容易让学生接受。同时以学生为主体,安排了丰富多彩的、有梯度的学生活动,给学生留出了自由发挥的空间,体现了交际语言教学的思想。

Teaching procedures:
I. Warm up

T: Hello everyone!
Ss: Hello Cody!
T: Do you like singing?
Ss: Yes.
T: OK. Now Let’s sing a song together.

课前,教者播放欢快、优美的英文歌曲,并与学生进行积极地互动,从而创设轻松、愉悦的英语学习氛围,同时调动学生的情感因素,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使他们很自然地进入英语学习状态。

Show some pictures, then ask:
T: Now please answer my questions: What’s this?
Ss: It’s a \ an … .
出示一些图片进行问答,复习旧知的同时,了解学生的语言水平,同时以旧带新,为教授新知做铺垫。
T: Excellent! Boys and girls, I think we live in a colorful word and have a colorful life, so today we’ll learn about colors together.
II. Presentation
1、Show a box, teach the new word “box”
采用直观教学,出示实物盒子,教授生词“box”,给学生以真实感,形象感,更易于学生对新知的理解。
T: There are many things in this box. What’s in it? Can you guess?
S1: An apple.
T: Maybe.
S2: A car.
……
T: Now let’s look in this box. Oh, let’s have a look. This is an orange, this is a…
2、Show the other box, let the students observe colors
T: OK. Now let’s learn about colors together.
3、Show some pictures, teach some new words: red, yellow, black, orange, green” and teach some sentences:“What color is it? It’s … . It’s a \an +颜色+物体.”
A. Show a picture about apple, teach the new word “red” and teach some sentences
T: What’s this?
S1: It’s an apple.
T: Yes. This is a red apple. Follow me,“red”.
Ss: Red. (Read the word one by one)
T: Now show me your finger, write it with me.
T: What’s this?
S1: It’s a red apple. (Answer the question one by one)
T: Yes. It’s red. What color is it? Can you tell me?
S2: It’s red. (Answer the question one by one)
T: Now clap your hands and read.
Ss: What color is it? It’s red.
此环节教师设置了拍手活动,并不断变换拍手速度,让学生在学中玩,玩中学。
B. Show a picture about banana, teach the new word “yellow” and teach some sentences
C. Show a picture about box, teach the new word “black” and teach some sentences
D. Show a picture about orange, teach the new word “orange” and teach some sentences
采用同上的方法进行教学,并设置“teacher says”游戏。目的是通过游戏这样一种符合小学生的认知特点、且学生喜闻乐见的活动形式,唤起学生的兴趣和好奇心,使他们在游戏中不知不觉地进行新知的练习。
E. Show a picture about watermelon,teach the new word “green” and teach some sentences
4、Show a hat, teach the new words “hat, blue” and teach some sentences
1、Game one: Throw a box with six colors, then ask “What color is it?”
2、Game two: What color do you like?
3、Game three: Look for the colors in our classroom.
4、Game four: Guess. (分组竞猜,每组选一名同学猜颜色,每人三次机会,猜中多者为胜)
5、Play the tape, and ask“What’s in the box?” “What color is it?”
T: Listen to the tape carefully.
T: Read after the tape loudly. (Twice)
T: What’s in the box? Can you answer?
S1: A hat.
T: What color is it?
S1: It’s yellow.
借助录音机,将教学内容回归到课文中,再一次帮助学生消化、理解本课新知。
6、Make a dialogue. (先全体后分组竞赛)
7、Listen and write.
IV.Homework:
T: Look for the colors in our classroom, in our school or in your home.
设置了拓展性的学生作业,让学生在教室、在学校或在自己家中寻找颜色,既能帮助学生巩固已知,又能促使学生探询未知。让学生带着问题离开课堂,再带着问题回归课堂,从而实现教学内容的有效生成。
