对于小麦的写作，无论是英文还是中文，我都比较头疼，头疼的不仅仅是他写的好不好，而是如何帮助他提高。作文是一门艺术，没有最好只有更好。和孩子讨论文章也需要水平，每个人有每个人的思路和特点，到底文章好不好也有很多标准，那些需要放手那些需要抓紧我也没有一个套路。所以有过几次不太有效的指导之后，我就开始采取躲开的态度。不采取也不行，小麦就不想让我参与进来了。如果我需要读他的作品呢，他就躲到门外，捂上耳朵，很紧张，也表示不想让我评论。当然我如果无意中脱口而出一些赞美之词，小麦就不介意了，而且也愿意和我讨论两句。

不过这个周末，我终于松了一口气。

十一长假小麦的英文作业就是写两篇关于希腊诸神的文章。第一篇是介绍一个自己选择的希腊神，同时还要画一幅希腊神的画像。对于基于事实的文章和画画，小麦基本不用我操心。他自己在网上找到很多信息，用Word就把文章写好了，还分类分章节，并且给章节写title. 可以说框架安排比我也不差。可是第二篇却把我给吓到了，这要求编写一个希腊神话故事。Creative writing, 这可是小麦的软肋. 不过小麦到没有害怕，自己糊弄糊弄又搞出一篇。说实话，写的就他的水平来说已经超水平了，可能是受益于最近在看Percy Jackson系列的书吧。不过写出来的东西的确不是creative writing 或者说一个故事的套路。我看完之后虽说表扬了他，但是没有想好如何和他讲不足之处，主要是不足很多，不知从何讲起，同时丁丁还是很费神的，没有时间和小麦谈作业的事情。

下午的时候，爸爸陪着丁丁睡觉，我潜入到书房，又看了一下作业要求，惊喜地发现，老师在留作业的时候又发了一篇如何给作文评分的详细列表。这份列表太好了，对于一片创意作文来讲，它客观详细的列举了7项要求和相对应的打分基础（对每一项要求，从一分到四分的具体标准。）

这些要求分别是：

1。有趣的细节和用词。

2。原创和创新性

3。人物和场景的描述。

4。故事情节的发展。

5。语法和拼字

6。长度。

7。文字抄写的整齐程度。

对于每一项都有具体的标准。比如说第二项创意。最低分，1分，就是“好像我在哪听过这个故事”。2分，就是和其他的神话故事又相同之处，但是大部分是原创。3分是原创并有一定的创造性。4分就是既是原创，又很有创造性。

对于第4项，也就是我觉得小麦最弱的方面，它的评分基础是这样的。1分，情节的重要部分缺失，故事难以读懂。 2分，情节发展有一些问题。3分，基本上有一个清楚的开始，渐渐升级的行动，高潮，和结局。4分就是上诉几项都很完整。

我没有多说话，只是把这个列表给小麦让他读一下，让我惊喜地是，小麦迅速就对自己的文章逐项作出判断，判断非常准确，至少和我差不多。（自我感觉比我还好，这也正说明他写的时候用心了。）然后他主动说，我要在这两方面再加强一下，之后就开始重新写故事了。

我这个高兴啊。其实小麦写的好坏倒是其次，重要的是在这个自我评判过程中，他没有负面的difensive的情绪。这小小的列表把问题和要求分成精细的小块，小麦在这个过程中觉得自己做到的是大部分（5项），没有做到的只是小部分（2项），同时很清楚地知道努力到多少是得多少分，是一个够的着的目标，而不是一个笼统的没有止境的要求，这让他信心和兴趣大增。这就是我很喜欢西式教育的地方。赶快给老师发邮件，希望每次的写作作业都附上这么一张表，省我多少心啊！

BTW, this is the final writing product, completed two hours after my blog.This is 100 times better than the first version and definitely beyond MY expectation.

Zeus-Myth

  Zeus grew up in a small cave 200 meters below Mount Doodoo .Mount Doodoo is in Greece and overlooks the sea. One day, Maia put him on top of Mount Doodoo, then, Athen found him. Athen was the god of hypnotizes, paralyzes, and dimensions. But we don’t know why he has a chariot. He is an shy but adventurous god and loves meat. He would eat meat every time he got hungry.  

Athen told Zeus there was a gigantic army of weak monsters that were living in America on Mount Magma. So, every night Zeus and Athen trained as hard as they could. They fought against each other and battled like they were worst enemies. When Zeus was 10,he and Athen were high experts and were about to battle.

 They got up at the crack of dawn when the moonlight shimmered beautifully on the sea. Athen and Zeus went on the chariot and got there in a flash. They arrived on a little island next to Mount Magma.    

 When they arrived, they saw a medium-sized soldier about 15 or 16 years old fly high off Mount Magma. He landed right on the little island Zeus and Athen were on.  

 He saw Athen and Zeus going to Mount Magma and said, “The army of monsters went to the Underworld.”

 Zeus asked in a brave voice,”Then how did you get kicked out?”

 He replied, “Oh, that was only because there were booby traps. By the way, call me Eric.”

 “Okay, Eric I’m Zeus and this is Athen.” Zeus said boldly.”By the way, do you want to join our quest?”

 “Sure, I would love to.”Eric said gladly.

 “What are you waiting for? Let’s go!” said Zeus.

 “Wait, if we’re going to the Underworld, then how will we get back?” Athen said.

 “We already have all the things we need, including the crystals to get back to the real world.” Eric said surely.

 “Okay, let’s go. “said Zeus. They rode on Athen’s chariot and got to the underworld in a flash again.

 When they got to the Underworld, it was really hard for them to find the monsters. When they finally found the monsters, they were in the Tabarus, the darkest part of the Underworld. It was so dark that even a flashlight can’t do much. But somehow they were having really good eyesight and killed all of them except for one. When they were just about to kill the last one, the flashlight ran out of batteries. But no worries, Athen loves meat doesn’t he? So, the monster was dead meat. So, Athen used his sniffing senses(I don’t know where Athen got his sniffing senses so good)and defeated the last monster.

 Then, Eric gave them each a crystal and teleported home.
