全国骑车上班日活动鼓励人们利用自行车出行

为了纪念全国骑车上班日（National Bike to Work Day），美国各地城市成千上万的通勤者将放下车钥匙，采取另外一种出行方式。

各地自行车协会的专家将带领骑车上班人员的队伍前往市区各商业办公区。他们还提供安全骑行的提示，同时安排有关人员在地面不平整的坑洼处放置安全警示灯。每年的全国骑车上班日活动推动了美国各城市大批上班族骑自行车上班。鼓励人们骑车出行是市长们为对抗气候变化采取的行动之一，使民众可以n呼吸到更清洁的空气。

On this day in May, many commuters will start cycling to work

On National Bike to Work Day, May 20, 2016, thousands of U.S. commuters will leave their cars at home and try out another way to get to work.

Experts from local bicycling associations will lead convoys to downtown business areas, offer safety tips and man “pit stops” where bike lights will be distributed. The annual event has contributed to increased cyclist traffic in U.S. cities. Encouraging bike ridership is one way city governments are acting on climate — and helping us all breathe easier.
