美国大学生在米兰为人们带来可咀嚼的经历

当2015年米兰世博会(2015 World Expo in Milan)美国馆(USA Pavilion )在5月1日开放时,参观者受到一批美国大学生使者的迎接。
这里总共有120名美国大学生使者担任展览解说员,向参观者介绍通过美国的创新如何可以帮助解决全球粮食问题。
来自纽约巴纳德学院(Barnard College)的学生使者阿德里安娜·迪法奇奥(Adriana DiFazio)说:“看到世界汇聚到一个国际舞台,共同解决我们当前面临并且未来会继续面临的粮食来源问题,非常令人兴奋。”

美国馆的互动展品专门介绍了美国农民、科学家、企业家和政府机构在如何探索满足日益增长的世界人口粮食需要的种种途径。参观者还可以品尝到高质量的食品和一些构成美国烹饪风格多样化的特色食材。
大学生使者是美国馆的形象代表。他们来自全美各地的94所高校,能够使用28种语言,包括意大利语、阿拉伯语、法语和汉语等。
迪法奇奥说:“我期待着有机会与其他文化互动,并且帮助介绍我对满足日益增长的世界人口粮食需要所面临的挑战和可能的解决办法的理解。”
