洛杉矶(Los Angeles)拥有大约2200辆天然气公交车,在全美排名第一,已成为削减公交系统碳排放的领先城市。市政官员估计,该市的环保型公交车自转而使用天然气以来每天能将温室气体排放削减136,000千克。

With the largest
fleet of natural gas buses in the U.S.
Los Angeles is taking steps beyond natural gas. Last year, the city rolled out the first of five electric buses for testing against the city’s serious public-transit needs. Each bus carries 120 passengers and can run for 275 kilometers before recharging.
