北京美国中心热诚邀请您出席将于12月5日星期五晚6:30举办的美国画家乔伊∙博斯特威克艺术展开幕及主题讲座：“新疆写影”，并与乔伊现场交流和探讨她的艺术。 

乔伊∙博斯特威克于1979年出生于美国。她于2003年以优异成绩毕业于北亚利桑那大学，并获得侧重西班牙语的文科学士学位，她主修美术，并获得版画制作证书。 

乔伊对用绘画展现各地少数族裔文化一直有着特别的热情。一开始，她的画作表现的是拉丁美洲的许多不同民族和地区，而在过去几年里，她一直在画亚洲的风景。她发现中国的文化丰富多彩又兼容并蓄，令人非常着迷，并且十分乐于通过自己的油画作品来表现这些美好动人之处。

This program will be offered in English with Chinese translation. 

The Beijing American Center invite you to join an exhibition opening and Artist Lecture which is by the American painter Joy Bostwick: A Portrait of Xinjiang. Joy will discuss with us about her inspiration of art. 

Joy Bostwick was born in the United States of America in 1979. She graduated Summa Cum Laude from Northern Arizona University in 2003, with a bachelor’s degree in Liberal Arts with a focus in Spanish, an emphasis in Fine Arts, and a certificate in printmaking. 

Joy has always especially had a passion for painting local minority cultures. She began by painting many different peoples and places from Latin America, and in the last several years has been painting scenes from Asia. She finds the many different cultures in China very fascinating, and enjoys expressing their beauty through her oil paintings.
