CYJO简历
CYJO,美籍韩裔视觉艺术家,主要从事以摄影为媒介的艺术创作,此外也从事文本和视频类的艺术创作。CYJO从小在华盛顿大都会地区长大,成年后多年寓居纽约。CYJO的艺术作品大多是围绕文化、生活经历、传统及现代如何塑造个人身份和集体身份这一主题进行剖析。CYJO不断地对不同文化的细微差别、连接元素以及有时是相互矛盾的视角进行探索,目前正在中国从事创作。
CYJO的作品曾在美国及海外的多个展馆进行展出,包括史密森国家肖像画廊(华盛顿特区)、亚洲协会德州中心(休斯顿)、日裔美国人国家博物馆(洛杉矶)、北京梯级艺术中心、北京亮点设计中心、中华世纪坛数字艺术馆(北京)、伦敦画廊(The
Art Atrium)和韩国协会(纽约)。
CYJO is an American visual artist of Korean ancestry who works
mainly in the photographic medium but also with text and video.
Raised in the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area with many adult
years living in NYC, her body of work analyzes how culture, life
experience, tradition and modernity shape the individual and
collective identity. She continues to explore cultural nuances,
connective elements and sometimes contradicting perspectives with
her current work in China.
CYJO’s work has been exhibited nationally and internationally,
including: The Smithsonian’s National Portrait Gallery, Washington,
D.C., Asia Society Texas Center, Houston, JANM Museum, Los Angeles,
T. Art Center, Beijing, Liang Dian Design Center, Beijing, China
Millennium Monument Museum of Digital Arts, Beijing, The Art
Atrium, London and The Korea Society, NYC.

艾伯乐(Nik
Apostolides),艺术经理人、教育家及独立策展人,目前在华盛顿特区工作和生活。现任史密森国家肖像画廊副馆长,在职期间,曾构思并策划了一个以当代艺术家为主体的跨学科项目系列“Portraits
After 5”。艾伯乐还在乔治华盛顿大学任教,并在多家非营利性机构(包括React to Flim)理事会任职。React to
Flim致力于推动纪录片制作的蓬勃发展,以促进社会责任的推广,并鼓励全国各地的院校都能参与其中。艾伯乐毕业于盖蒂博物馆领导力学院。
Nik Apostolides is an arts manager, educator, and independent
curator who lives and works in Washington, D.C.
He is Associate Director of the Smithsonian’s
National Portrait Gallery, where he conceived and curated an
inter-disciplinary program series, Portraits After 5, featuring
contemporary artists. He teaches at George Washington University,
and serves on a number of nonprofit boards like React to Film,
which leverages the best documentary filmmaking to promote social
responsibility and spark civic engagement in schools and colleges
across the country. He is a graduate of the Getty Museum Leadership
Institute.
