莱昂纳多·迪卡普里奥(Leonardo DiCaprio)以一名获奖演员而著称,主演了多部不同风格的电影,如《泰坦尼克号》(Titanic)、《逍遥法外》(Catch Me if You Can)、《血钻》(Blood Diamond)和《华尔街之狼》(The Wolf of Wall Street)。

Leonardo DiCaprio is best known as an award-winning actor and the star of films as varied as Titanic, Catch Me If You Can, Blood Diamond and The Wolf of Wall Street. DiCaprio is also known to be a committed environmental and conservation activist.

In 1998, DiCaprio established the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation to help protect the environment. The foundation provides grants and develops environmental campaigns and media projects. The DiCaprio Foundation collaborates with the World Wildlife Fund, an international nongovernmental organization focused on conservation and restoration of the environment, to protect tigers from extinction and conserve the world’s remaining rain forests. Other projects aim to protect the oceans, Antarctica and marine life, including sharks.

In May 2013, DiCaprio hosted a foundation benefit in New York City that raised $38.8 million from the sale of 33 works of art and donations from collectors, making it the most valuable charity auction in history to support conservation projects. The following November, the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation announced a $3 million grant to the World Wildlife Fund to help double the number of wild tigers in Nepal by 2022. The grant was the first awarded from the funds raised at the New York charity auction.
