南卡罗来纳州的黑河沼泽保护区的独特之处不仅在于其河水的颜色。
在冲积平原森林逐渐开阔、河流逐渐变窄之处，即是南卡罗来纳州（South Carolina）的黑河沼泽保护区（Black River Swamp Preserve）。
黑河因其河水的颜色深似黑茶而得名，这种异乎寻常的颜色来自于河水所含的高浓度有机碳。但黑河的独特性还不仅于此。
这条河在这里的潮汐缓和，使得水面看上去静止不动。平静的水面好似一幅无与伦比的画布，描画出岸边高耸的柏树的倒影。

It's not just the color of the water that makes South Carolina’s Black River Swamp Preserve unique.
Where the flood plain forest widens and the river narrows, you’ll find South Carolina’s Black River Swamp Preserve.
Named for its stained water, similar in appearance to dark tea, the Black River achieves its unusual color from a high concentration of organic carbon. But that’s not all that makes this body of water unique.
The river’s tide is slow here, making the water appear to stand still. This tranquil surface provides the perfect canvas to capture the reflection of the cypress trees that tower overhead.
In addition to photography, the river is also popular for kayaking, canoeing and fishing.
