Boston’s Old South Meeting House is where liberty found its allies and the American Revolution gained its voice.

Visitors can walk Boston’s Freedom Trail to this and 15 other historical sites in two or three hours and sample two-and-a-half centuries of American history. A red brick or painted line connects the sites on the trail and guides walkers to a Boston where past and present peacefully coexist to educate and entertain.

A city older than its nation, Boston was first incorporated in 1630. For more than 300 years, Boston has been a center for social and political change, and today remains the economic and cultural hub of New England.
