每年夏天在明尼苏达州（Minnesota）圣保罗市（St. Paul）举行的明尼苏达州博览会（Minnesota State Fair）吸引将近180万名游客，是世界上规模最大的博览会之一。自1859年以来，这项为期12天的盛事展示了该州最优秀的农业、艺术与工业。
从棉花糖和油炸糖棒到白斑鱼和猪排，博览会上有60多种美味串烧可供选择，更不用提其他450多种其他形式的美食。博览会的其他亮点还包括100多场免费演出、50多类竞技游戏、30多种嘉年华游乐设施（见上图）。
博览会的传统广场（Heritage Square）展示怀旧艺术和手工艺，而国际集市（International Bazaar）则囊括了全世界各地的异国风味。博览会还举办其他各类活动，包括牛、家禽和羊驼比赛等。创意活动部（Creative Activities Department）呈现明尼苏达州最精湛的针线活、手工艺品及烘焙，美术馆（Fine Arts Exhibition）则举办本州规模最大的珠宝艺术展。
2013年的博览会将于8月22日至9月2日举行。

Attracting nearly 1.8 million visitors a year, the Minnesota State Fair is one of the largest expositions in the world.
Held every summer in St. Paul, Minnesota, the Minnesota State Fair attracts nearly 1.8 million visitors annually and represents one of the largest expositions in the world. Since 1859, the 12-day celebration has showcased the state’s finest agriculture, art and industry.
From cotton candy and deep-fried candy bars to walleye fish and pork chops, there are more than 60 food-on-a-stick items available — not to mention the 450 other foods not served on a stick. The fair also features more than 100 free performances, 50 games of skill and 30 carnival rides, like the one pictured above.
Nostalgic arts and crafts are displayed at the fair’s Heritage Square, while the International Bazaar features exotic flavors from around the world. The fair also hosts cattle, poultry and llama competitions, among others. Minnesota’s best needlework, handcrafts and baking are presented in the Creative Activities Department, and the Fine Arts Exhibition boasts the state’s largest juried art show.
In 2013, the fair will be held August 22 through September 2.
