亲身体验北美最大的综合性艺术节：纽约艺穗节
纽约每年夏天举行北美最大的综合性艺术节，为期16天。纽约艺穗节（FringeNYC）——正式名称为“纽约国际艺穗节”（New York International Fringe Festival）——为人们呈现来自全世界将近200个最优秀的新生代剧团和舞蹈团体的1,200多场演出。
在拟于2013年8月9日至25日举行的纽约艺穗节上，人们有机会看到一些世界上最优秀的独立戏剧艺术家的身影，可以了解到新锐剧作家、作曲家、编舞和导演可以展现些什么。参加过以往纽约艺穗节的艺术家包括布莱德利﹒库珀（Bradley Cooper），摩根﹒斯普尔洛克（Morgan Spurlock）以及迈克尔·尤瑞（Michael Urie）。
作为纽约第五大文化盛事，这项艺术节活动范围遍及曼哈顿下城（Lower Manhattan）的20家场馆。演出时间为每周一至周五下午2点到午夜12点，周六日中午12点到午夜12点。每场演出的预售票价为15美元，现场门票为18美元。

Witness the largest multiarts festival in North America: FringeNYC.
For 16 days in the summer, New York City hosts the largest multiarts festival in North America. Formally known as the New York International Fringe Festival, FringeNYC presents more than 1,200 performances from nearly 200 of the world's best emerging theater troupes and dance companies.
Taking place August 9–25, 2013, FringeNYC is an opportunity to see some of the world’s best independent theater artists and to hear what cutting-edge playwrights, composers, choreographers and directors have to say. FringeNYC alumni include Bradley Cooper, Morgan Spurlock and Michael Urie.
The festival — New York’s fifth-largest cultural event — is spread across 20 venues in Lower Manhattan. The shows run from 2 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and from noon until midnight on weekends. Tickets for each performance cost $15 in advance and $18 at the door.
