The Sandlot is a 1993 American comedy sports film told from the perspective of Scotty Smalls. Scotty moves to a new neighborhood with his mom and stepdad, and he wants to learn how to play baseball. In his new neighborhood, he is taken under the town’s baseball guru guide and soon he is part of the local baseball buddies. They fall into adventures involving baseball, their tree house, the lifeguard at the local pool, and their rival team. Beyond the fence at the back of the sandlot menaces a legendary ball-eating dog called The Beast, and the kids must deal with him. This is perfect film for the kids and the family!

The film was directed by David M. Evans and written by Robert Gunter
