The suggestions come from a grass-roots campaign that urges Facebook users to “Do One Thing for Diversity and Inclusion.” The campaign is the brainchild of UNESCO, the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization.

UNESCO has been collecting concrete ideas recently because the U.N. General Assembly established May 21 as World Day for Cultural Diversity for Dialogue and Development. The day offers an opportunity to emphasize the value of cultural diversity and to learn to live together better, UNESCO said.
