德博拉•塞利格松于2010年6月参加美国前副总统的首个中国气候项目培训。自从开发同名电影赖以为基础的“难以忽视的真相”系列演讲以来，戈尔副总统已在世界各地培训讲师来宣讲关于气候变化的问题。该谈话深入气候变化问题背后的科学以及我们的政策选择和社会挑战。这特别有趣，因为幻灯片以有趣的视觉方式提供最新的科学信息。

德博拉•塞利格松担任世界资源研究所的中国问题气候和能源项目以及ChinaFAQs的中国气候和能源网络首席顾问。她经常在www.ChinaFAQs.org上撰写博客，并就中国和国际气候政策的各种相关问题进行研究和写作。她最近的出版物集中在中国的排放、技术问题和美中关系。在加入世界资源研究所之前，她在美国国务部任职20年，在那里，她就中国、印度、尼泊尔、新西兰的能源和环境问题而工作。她最近的任职是北京环境、科学、技术和健康顾问。她获得了普林斯顿大学伍德罗·威尔逊学院的科学、技术和环境政策硕士学位。他还获得了哈佛大学的东亚研究学士学位。她能说流利的中文和一些印地文。

Please join us on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 pm for a special lecture on Climate Change:

Deborah Seligsohn attended former U.S. Vice President’s first Climate Project training in China in June 2010.  Since developing the lecture series “an Inconvenient Truth,” on which the movie is based, VP Gore has trained lecturers all over the world to deliver this speech on the climate change issue.  The talk goes into the science behind the climate change issue as well as our policy options and the challenges for society.  It is particularly interesting, because the slides provide up to date scientific information in a visually interesting way.

Deborah Seligsohn serves as Principal Advisor to WRI’s climate and energy program on issues in China as well as to the ChinaFAQs China Climate and Energy Network.  She blogs regularly at www.ChinaFAQs.org,  as well as researching and writing on a variety of issues connected on both China and international climate policy. Her recent publications have focused on Chinese emissions, technology issues and US-China relations. Prior to joining WRI, she served for over 20 years in the U.S. State Department, where she worked on energy and environment issues in China, India, Nepal and New Zealand. Her most recent position was as Environment, Science, Technology and Health Counselor on Beijing. She has a master’s degree from Princeton University’s Woodrow Wilson School in Science, Technology and Environmental Policy, and her BA is from Harvard University in East Asian Studies. She speaks fluent Chinese and some Hindi.
