Nowadays, with the number of the university students considerably increasing ①as well as the expanding size of the campuses, many professors and other teaching faculties are becoming more ②enthusiastic about seeking administrative positions rather than teaching, which has ③led to bureaucratization of the universities. Some people think it is a good change while others are against it. As far as I am concerned, this phenomenon is quite worrying.

The bureaucratization of the universities will cause ④a series of negative influences on the development of our education. To begin with, the central function of the universities will be changed. As we all know, a good education is to provide students with the best learning opportunities and resources. All the teaching activities should ⑤be carried out around the students. The bureaucratization will emphasize too much the importance of the school officials. Moreover, this phenomenon may bring about the waste of the social energy and many other resources. ⑥It is very likely that a great deal of time and money will be spent on the school administration instead of the improvement of the teaching quality. Finally, the bureaucratization will probably ⑦foster some corruptions. Some school officials may spend their time on socializations.

In conclusion, the bureaucratization of the universities should be eliminated and professors should put their focus on the sustainable development of the education.
