Lo, lush green grass on grassland vast,

Now it withers, now it revives.

Though wildfire can burn it down fast,

As spring breeze blaws, anon it thrives,    

Reaching many an ancient track,

Once more bidding my friend farewells,

Approaching the old towns of wrack,

Oh, deep in green grass my grief dwells.
