明代诗人梅鼎祚曾作过一首诗，全诗虽然仅有四句二十四字，诗人却连用八个“半”字，把一幅半隐半现、烟雨迷蒙的江南水乡春景图描绘得维妙维肖。（简介来自网络，特此致谢）

半水半烟著柳，

半风半雨催花；

半没半浮渔艇，

半藏半见人家。

A Quatrain by Mei Dingzuo

The willows don half water dress and half mist-veil;

In half breeze and half rain bloom the flowers a lot.

The fishing boats half float forth and half away sail;

The villages are half visiable and half not.

Half dipping in brook, half in brume, the willow trees,

Half by drizzle, the flowers beauteous, half by breeze.

Half body below the lake, half not, each fishing boat,

Half seeable, the villages, half not, th’ remote.
