日新其德， 止于至善。（对学生来讲，这所谓的校训其内涵就是‘好好学习，天天向上’）
试译如下：
Starve thy vice day by day, Till thy virtue never sway.
Starve vice of thine day after day, until thy virtue forever
stay.
日新其德 － I can say “nuture thy virtues day by day”, but I think I’d fain try the other way around to illustrate what the motto in fact tries to convey, as a saying goes, All roads lead to Rome.
