引起倒装的前置(Fronting with inversion): CVS

                      （subject complement + verb + subject）

Types of CVS:

1. comparative

More important than your personal statement is your GPA.

No less impressive than the invention of the laser was the development of the wheel.

Just as powerful as a thank-you note is the simple phrase “ Excuse me.” 

2.so… that…

So small was the mark that I could hardly see it.

So happy was I that I bought flowers for everybody in class.

3. intro adjective / noun

Happy about their acceptance into their dream schools were Lany and Tomo.

Beautiful beyond belief was my baby daughter.

A very reckless man is William Jefferson.

当主语补语前置时，如果主语较长或主语结构比较复杂，这种主语补语的前置就会引起倒装（Inversion）。

Happy indeed are those who receive marvellous news after a lon time silence.
