empty 与 bare 用法辨析 

empty: adj.

1. having nothing or nobody inside 空间内无人无物的

   an empty room 空房间(屋内无人无物)

   At midnight even the busiest street is empty.

2. unhappy 空虚的；无意义的；无聊的

   Her days were empty.
