江西瓷業公司創辦於光緒二十八年（1902）。此粉彩隔洗為清末宣統年的官窯瓷品。這種高足台式設計充分考慮了隔洗在應用上的便利，它的內收外延的形式處理所形成的凹槽不僅在視覺上有弧度變化，也為雙手的提拿提供了安全卡槽。隔洗的上部為曲線而下部為直線，曲与直的對比更增強了設計的美感。

隔洗外側繪萱草和桃花等四季花卉紋飾，中部以藍底繪冰梅，下部繪變體蓮瓣紋，口沿描金，裝飾性強。繪畫手法上以單線或排線勾勒內形，以彩釉直接畫枝葉和畫瓣。隔洗有明顯的清末官窯特點，即胎體較厚（官胎），釉色肥潤，彩料鮮亮。隔洗為三隔區，隔內釉色泛青白，譎皮釉明顯，底部修足平整精細。‘江西瓷業公司’釩紅手寫款。

Xuantong Famille Rose Ink Holder with Four-Season Flower Decoration

(1909-1912)

The Jiangxi Porcelain Company was founded in the 28^th year of Guangxu (1902). This famille rose ink holder came from the official kiln of the late Qing Dynasty, during the reign of Xuantong. The design of this ink wash takes into consideration the way it is used and handled. The shape extends upwards to form sunken troughs, which prevent ink-fluid from sloshing when handled. The upper half of the ink holder curves up while the bottom half remains straight across. It is an interesting juxtaposition of curved lines and straight edges.

The outside walls of the ink holder are decorated with flowers of the four seasons. Yellow day lilies and plum blossoms adorn the upper portion. The middle section is decorated with winter plums. The bottom is painted with stylized water lily petals design. Gold gilded lines hug the rim of the vessel. Forms are indicated with single lines. Flowers and leaves are painted directly with glazes. This ink holder has the distinct characteristics of official kilns from the late Qing period – thick lavish enamels in bright and lush colors. The ink holder is divided into three partitions. The interiors are of a cool white glaze and have a slight pebble-like texture. The foot was neatly finished, hand-inscribed with “Jiangxi Porcelain Company” in vanadium red.
