Funeral service for Professor Turner

Bengt Turner, Chairman of the ENHR and Professor of Economics at the University of Uppsala, died suddenly Monday the 12th of March after a short illness. A funeral service for Professor Turner will be held at two o'clock in the afternoon of Friday the 13th of April in Gävle, Sweden. The service will be held in the main chapel of the Skogskyrkogården (forest cemetery), located just outside of the city. A gathering to celebrate the memory of Bengt Turner will take place afterwards in the Gävle Concert Hall, in the centre of the city along the river.

A meeting of the ENHR Coordination Committee will be held in Gävle on Thursday the 12th of April starting at three o'clock in the afternoon. Christine Whitehead and Peter Boelhouwer, the two Vice Chairman of the ENHR, will act jointly as Acting Chairpeople on any matters needing decision before the CC meeting.

Experten på bopriser avled efter kort tids sjukdom

Stockholm. Nationalekonomen Bengt Turner har avlidit efter en kort tids sjukdom. Det uppger hans kollega Lars Lundin, kanslichef på Institutet för bostads- och urbanforskning vid Uppsala universitet, för TT. 

 Turner var professor i nationalekonomi, med inriktning på fastighetsmarknaden. Han var en av Sveriges mest kända nationalekonomer, och uttalade sig ofta om prisutvecklingen på bostadsmarknaden.
  Bengt Turner blev 60 år.
