学校成功举办了三场周末讲座之后，反响热烈。我们很荣幸地再次邀请家长们前来参加：由著名儿童文学作家郑春华女士主讲的讲座，她撰写了著名的儿童系列读物《大头儿子小头爸爸》、《非常小子马鸣加》，曾出版儿童诗集《甜甜的托儿所》、《小豆芽芽》、《圆圆和圈圈》，中篇小说《紫罗兰幼儿园》，童话集《郑春华童话》等。作品获得中国作家协会首届全国优秀儿童文学奖，上海儿童文学园丁奖。郑女士也是我们学校的一名家长，为学校作志愿者工作。本次见面会的目的是为了帮助家长让母语为中文的孩子更有意识地选“好书”,也让母语为英语的孩子提高对中文的兴趣。

讲座的内容包括:                                 

-根据少儿不同的年龄阶段的心理特点来让孩子们爱上中文书

-如何有目的地选择书 (文学性; 趣味性;知识性)

-家长如何与孩子一起读书

-如何提高和培养孩子写作的兴趣

-推荐孩子阅读书单

    我们鼓励家长参加并互相分享经验，交流心得。演讲的语言是中文，演讲之后会有提问及自由讨论时间。讲座将在位于虹桥路上的唯浓唯尼（Vino Venue）进行，届时有饮料提供给大家。本次活动对公众开放，欢迎您的朋友或其他感兴趣的家长前来参加。

    Following four successful weekend speaker events, we invite you to join us to listen to a talk from Mrs Zheng Chunhua – a famous author of children's literature.  Mrs Zheng has written many well-known children's books, including the novel 'Big Head Father and Small Head Son', ' Special Boy Ma Mingjia', children’s poetry collections ’Sweet Kindergarten’, 'Little Bean Sprout', 'Johnny-jump-up Kindergarten', and the fairy tale collection ’Fairy Tales by Zheng Chunhua’.  Mrs Zheng has received a number of prestigious literary awards at city and national level.  Mrs Zheng is a YK Pao School parent and has volunteered to help the school through running workshops with students over the coming months.

    This talk is aimed to help arouse a stronger interest in reading good Chinese books among Chinese and English speaking children.  The talk will touch the following areas: sharing through reading and writing; trends in children’s literature; how to arouse an interest in reading Chinese in different ages of children; what kind of book to choose for your child; how parents and children should read together; how to arouse an interest in writing in children; recommended books. 

    We would like to encourage as many parents to join as possible and to share their experiences.  The talk will be in Chinese, followed by an informal discussion.  This event is open to the public, so please feel free to bring friends or anyone else you know who may be interested.

The talk will take place at  Vino Venue on Hongqiao Road and drinks will be provided.
