From the teachers’ soft voices to the beautifully decorated
classrooms and the methodical teaching approach, our fortnight in
Karori School left us with a deep impression about teaching there.

YK Pao School community truly came together to
support our campaign to help a mountain village school in Sichuan
after the devastating earthquake. A group of
volunteers from our school traveled to Cifeng, a small village, to
deliver aid and work with the children.
这一次的援助活动让我看到了包玉刚实验学校的凝聚力和大家强烈的社会责任感。汶川大地震发生后，包玉刚实验学校的师生开展了募捐活动。随后，又举行了专项义卖展出活动，以帮助四川山区小镇的一所学校。一小队包玉刚实验学校的志愿者带着筹集的物资去到了小镇磁峰，帮助磁峰小学灾后重建，为磁峰小学的孩子们送去包玉刚实验学校的温暖。

we distributed
goods to the area worth nearly
75,000RMB, including 56,000RMB
worth of electric
equipment and
equipment for canteens worth over
17,000RMB.
非常非常感谢参与四川捐赠活动的所有人！是你们让我们这次有意义的活动得以成行。我们一共向磁峰小学捐赠了价值75000元人民币的物资，其中包括价值56000元的电子设备和超过17000元的食堂设备。
今年暑假，我们学校有了自己的第一次中文夏令营。我们一起学习中文，画画、写字、演讲、唱歌；我们一起了解上海，去城隍庙、去蜡像馆，去乌镇。感谢这一次的夏令营，它让我们的暑假变得更有趣、更有意义了！
This summer, YK Pao School ran its first Chinese
Summer Camp. The camp focused on writing
practice, speaking, singing and painting. There
were also a number of excursions to teach the students about
Shanghai. These included trips to temples,
Shanghai’s Madame Tussaud’s and Wuzhen
village. Thank you to everyone who was involved
for making this such a special and memorable camp.
