欢迎阅读本期的Pao Press. 我们又度过了繁忙的两个月，其中最让人难忘就是我校金山校区的奠基仪式。

to another edition of Pao Press. We have had another two busy
months with the highlight being the ground breaking Ceremony
at
Jinshan. More about that later. Also in this month’s edition we have an article by Mr. Earl Tai, our Art Specialist. The arts, music, drama, dance and fine arts are very important for us at YK Pao School.
As part of our goal to educate the whole person, we aim to foster anddevelop a child’s artistic expression_r and appreciation of the arts. The arts
are powerful forms of expression_r that recognize, value and contribute to the unique multicultural character of YK Pao School. It explores and
affirms the unique artistic expression_r of China and values as part of our curriculum. It stimulates creativity by engaging and connecting thinking, imagination, sense and feelings.
Through the development of the arts, students are able to appreciate, participate and enjoy the arts throughout their lives. Our aim is to foster talent in the arts but also encourage children to participate in the arts for enjoyment. We cannot all sing like
Pavarotti or paint like Picasso but we can all enjoy singing in a choir or painting in an art class. These are life-long dispositions that we want to cultivate in our students whey they
are at our school.
