The Answer to Summary writing of NEC Book Two Lesson 92

The writer returned home about 2 a.m.and rang doorbell. Having failed to wake his wife, he got a ladder and put it against the wall and climbed towards the bedroom window. Suddenly a policeman called out but he answered rudely. He told him that he had forgotten his key. The shouting woke up his wife and she opened the window just as the policeman had begun climbing the ladder after him.（76 words）

On returning home about two in the morning, he rang the doorbell but failed to wake up his wife. After having fetched a ladder and putting it against the wall, he climbed towards the bedroom windows when a policeman called out. Answering rudely him that he had forgotten his key, he regretted it. But the shouting woke up his wife who opened the windows at the moment when the policeman had begun climbing the ladder after him.（80 words）
