风风雨雨之后，几个月长久等待之后，胡舒立终于在香港大学的媒体大会（Reporting New Realities in the Asia Pacific Region）上亮相。在新闻传媒研究中心主任陈婉莹（Ying Chan,多年前请她到我办公室来过，是 William Woo 和 Ed Kohorst 的好朋友）介绍她为 China's most dangerous woman 后，胡舒立讲了一些她的信念，不少是介绍推广自己的杂志和其它出版物，但演讲决不缺少鼓舞人心的精神。

     他提到斯坦福大学 Knight Fellowship 的 Lyle Nelson 80年代曾在CD工作，我这个2004-05年 Lyle & Corrine Nelson Fellow 也是第一次听说。而Corrine 一直也没有跟我提起。胡也提到了1987在 WPI 的项目。我是在98年才去这项目。

     其实听了胡舒立的讲话，才真正理解为何财经那么多人被她感召，因为这是一个有信念、新闻理念的新闻人，并愿意为之不屈不饶奋斗的人。在中国的环境下，胡舒立确实是稀有。

     相信很多记者、那些充满理想的记者，都愿意为这样领导带领下工作。

     胡舒立终于发声了，而且是大声，是呐喊，如果作为新闻工作者对此毫无感觉，那应该是心死了，应该改行了。

-- In the future, please watch the media experiment in Caixin media.... We can prove we can do quality journalism in a new way.... never give up... we won't give up...
