世事一场大梦,人生几度秋凉?
夜来风叶已鸣廊。看取眉头鬓上。(秋凉 一作:新凉)
Worldly affair is a dream grand (A)
How many chilly spans of autumn in life stand? (A)
Echoed in the porch rustling leaves blown by night wind (B)
Upon my head more streaks of grey hair are left behind (B)
酒贱常愁客少,月明多被云妨。
中秋谁与共孤光。把盏凄然北望。
With inferior wine I’m always worried drinkers fewer (C)
The clouds often blot out the bright moon from viewer (C)
In mid-autumn who’ll share with me lonely moonlight (D)
Gazing sadly toward the north I raise my cup upright (D)
