完美的女人

她是欢乐的幻像
当第一次闪现在我眼前；
一个可爱的幽灵，
上天送来美化瞬间;
她的眼睛似美妙黄昏时的星辰；
她深色的头发也宛如淡淡暮光;
但她身上的其他一切
透着五月的春光和欢乐的黎明;
一个舞蹈造型，一个欢快的形象
都会让人思念萦绕，震撼，心智迷乱。
我靠近些观察她，
一个精灵，却又是一个女人!
她做家务的动作轻盈从容，
清纯的步履无拘无束;
一张记载着甜蜜，承诺着美好的脸;
一个对人类本能的每日膳食
不太敏感或不太精明的生灵；
有着短暂的痛苦，率直的诡计，
赞美，责备，爱，亲吻，眼泪和笑容。
我在用沉静的眼睛观望
她机体的每一脉搏跳跃;
一个进行缜密呼吸的生命，
一个生与死之间的过客;
有着坚定的理性，温和的欲望，
耐力，远见，力量和技巧;一个完美的女人，
一个用来警示，安慰和命令
高贵地设计出来的女人;
然而，却是一个闪耀着
天使般光芒的精灵。

She was a phantom of delight
When first she gleam'd upon my
sight;
A lovely apparition,
sent
To be a moment's
ornament;
Her eyes as stars of twilight
fair;
Like twilight's, too, her dusky
hair;
But all things else about her
drawn
From May-time and the cheerful
dawn;
A dancing shape, an image
gay,
To haunt, to startle, and waylay.
I saw her upon nearer view,
A Spirit, yet a Woman too!
Her household motions light and free,
And steps of virgin liberty;
A countenance in which did meet
Sweet records, promises as sweet;
A creature not too bright or good
For human nature's daily food;
For transient sorrows, simple wiles,
Praise, blame, love, kisses, tears, and smiles
And now I see with eye serene
The very pulse of the machine;
A being breathing thoughtful breath,
A traveller between life and death;
The reason firm, the temperate will,
Endurance, foresight, strength, and skill;
A perfect Woman, nobly plann'd,
To warn, to comfort, and command;
And yet a Spirit still, and bright
With something of angelic light.
