如果有来生，               If there were next life,

要做一棵树，               I'd like to be a tree,

站成永恒，                 Standing eternally

没有悲伤的姿势；           In a posture without grief.

一半在尘土里安详，         Half were beneath in the earth serenely,

一半在空中飞扬；           Half were flying in the sky lightly;

一半散落阴凉，             Half would scatter shading,

一半沐浴阳光。             Half would bath in the sunshine.

非常沉默非常骄傲，         It were So quiet and so Proud,

从不依靠从不寻找。         Without dependence and seek.
