Step1. Warm up and lead in

1.     Greeting

2.     Chant : How well do you play football?    Clap hands!

Question: Can this spider climb up any wall?

T: There is a TV show about animals. Let’s see what can the animals do?

S:…..      Nice!

T: There is a TV show about bears. What does the presenter say?

 (It can ride a bike. It can….  Sum up: It can do a lot.)

  Video about Penguin .  It’s very useful.

T : How about the dogs? Let’s watch.

T: Dogs are….

Learning: A lot    useful

Listen and repeat. 引出课题  Let’s know more about dogs.

Step2.Task presentation

Make a poster of your favorite animals.  介绍animal cards.

Step3. Text learning

Listen and answer:

Q1: There’s a TV show about__________.听第一遍文本,回答问题。

课件呈现TV show presenter.

What does the presenter say?

Dogs are very useful.

Q2: Why are they useful?

Let’s listen. Use your pens to underline the answers.

First one, practice in pairs.

教师拿出blind单词卡(粘贴到黑板上)Who can tell us?        

Yes, you can get the animal cards.

课件呈现一个盲童,一位盲人过马路 He can’t see . He is blind.

自然拼读法教学Try to read.   Find  kind  blind       spell the word ”blind.”

T this man is blind….引领学生说。

S:一竖排学生读。    教师板书 This man is….  齐读

教师拿出deaf单词卡 Why are they useful?

S: This girl is ….

T:动作呈现,Can you hear?

课件呈现Try to read. Just now, you use your ears to hear. Try to write. Spell it.  ear  hear.

铃声 Can you hear? But this girl, she can’t hear. She is deaf(单词卡)(粘贴到黑板)

S: This girl is deaf.

T: These two dogs help the blind man and the deaf girl. Let’s look .How about this dog? Why ?

Practice in pairs.

 单词卡fire firefighter 学习。

小结:Dogs are very useful.

T: can we have a dog? How about Sam and Amy? What does Sam ask?    Sam头像粘贴

课件呈现 Can we have a dog, Mum?   Better!  Front!  Please!  Partner! 学生朗读,教师板书Can we have a dog, Mum?

T: Ms Smart 头像粘贴What does Ms Smart answer?

No, we can’t. I’m sorry.

课件呈现热狗 Is it a dog?   It’s a hot dog.

Yummy! What are they?  It’s made of bread and sausages.

Let’s read text sentence by sentence.

Read it by yourselves.  Clear?

学生一句一句起立朗读。教师给予评价。

Role play. 五位学生起来分角色朗读。

Step4. Practice

1. Read and choose , True or false. Change your paper. Change back.

2. Read and write. 看图片写句子

Talk ,then write.

学生回答。How to spell “hear”?

These two questions. Who is all right?

3.P40. practice in pairs.

Step5. Text production

1.Now, Talk about our favorite animals.

First, do you want to know what my favorite animal is ?

 

I love the dolphin. It’s grey and white. It can swim very fast and jump high. It can sing, but it can’t sing well. It can help children. I love it very much.

What can we say?

LOOK, there are some animals here. You can talk about one animal. After that, come here to show your animals. OK?

Take out the pictures I gave you before the class.

2.Talk about you own animal. Use this structure

Take your cards and write your animal here.

教师投影批阅,学生朗读自己的作品。

You can stick it on my big posters.

Step6.summary and homework.

Animals are our friends. They are very useful. They can help a lot and they can do a lot.So we should help each other, because you and me from one world ,we are family, let the world be full of love .

Homework:

1.Read or recite the text.

2.Finish your animal posters.
