Step 3 Look, listen and find
1. Look at some pictures and say the words:
(Put them on the blackboard and teach the new word “bamboo”)

Draw a hand near the words “ sun, water, fish”, draw a foot near another three words “ winter, children, bamboo” , then listen, do and say the words loudly.

(设计意图:把与图中动物相关的单词进行复习教学,并通过“快速反应”的游戏巩固单词,活跃气氛。同时为下面介绍动物的习性做好了衔接。)
3. First practice with the whole class, then hold a competition among groups.

(设计意图:英语学习重在交流,两两对话的设计是为了反馈学生的学习情况,同时也为了让学生有展示自我的机会,对树立他们的自信心有很大的帮助。)

Give every group an envelope which has some word cards in it. Then ask them to make the words into a complete sentence with their teammates, try to get the answers of these riddles (some kinds of animals) Talk about the animals you guess as more as you can.
