And we will all the pleasures prove                 

That hills and valleys, dales and fields,            山林川泽，物华天宝，你我同好。

Or woods or steepy mountain yields.

And we will sit up upon the rocks,                   浅水溪畔，以石为椅，并肩共看：

And see the shepherds feed their flocks

By shallow rivers, to whose falls                    溪涧倒挂，鸟鸣如歌，牧野似画。

Melodious birds sing madrigals.

And I will make thee beds of roses                    玫瑰芬芳，采撷万朵，以为汝床。

And a thousand fragrant posies;

A cap of flowers, and a kirtle                        香草千行，编以为冠，百叶缀裳。

Enbroider'd all with leaves of myrtle.

A gown made of the finest wool                        羔羊之皮，素丝五紽，制以为衣。

Which from our pretty lambs we pull;

Fair-lined slippers for the cold,                     丝缕纤纤，至金煊煊，为履为链。

With buckles of the purest gold.

A belt of straw and ivy-buds                          春藤是带，珊瑚为钮，琥珀作扣。

With coral clasps and amber studs:

And if these pleasures may thee move,                 汝心感兮？胡不来兮？相偎相依。

Come live with me and be my Love.

The shepherd swains shall dance and sing              舞兮歌兮，倩影至兮，五月晓光。

For thy delight each May morning:

If these delights thy mind may move,                  汝心欢兮？胡不来兮？相偎相依。

Then live with me and be my love.
