英语中作系动词用的实义动词

  问：我知道be是系动词，seem 和become也是系动词。老师说feel是半联系动词，我不太清楚，请讲一下行吗？

   答：除了你所举的be，seem 和become是联系动词外，还有许多实义动词也可作系动词用，也就是说，这些动词失去原有的动作概念，表示：

     1）“感觉”。比如：feel, look, sound, taste, smell等。例句如：She felt cold.（她感到很冷。）/ She looks very young.（她看起来很年轻。）/ Her words sound quite convincing.（她的话听起来颇有说服力。）/ This apple tastes sour.（这苹果吃起来是酸的。）/ Can you smell something burning?（你能闻什么东西烧焦了吗？）

     2）“变化”。比如：become, appear, get, turn, grow, make, go, fall, run, break, burn, shine, return等。例句如：They soon became friends.（他们很快成为朋友。） / She got angry at my words.（一听到我的话，她发火了。） / Milk turns sour.（牛奶酸了。）/ She will make a good wife.（她将成为贤惠的妻子。） / Her dreams came true. （她的梦想实现了。）

     3）“依旧”。比如：remain, keep, stay, continue, stand, rest, lie, hold prove等。例句如：She remained faithful to him.（她对他忠诚。） / Take exercises every day if you want to keep fit.（如要身体好，就要天天锻炼。） / He stand her friend.他不愧是她的患难之交。）/ You can rest assured.（你们可以放心。）/ He proved a capable manager.（他证明自己是一位能干的经理。）
