The Africa Bureau of the United Nations Development Programme
(UNDP) is
looking for an intern to support communication activities and
specifically web
and multimedia starting in July.
We are looking for the following background and skills:
· At minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in journalism, international
relations, development or
related field
· Solid writing skills and journalistic sense
· Working knowledge of Web design and editing, HTML newsletters and
multimedia
software
· Native English speaker
· Understanding/fluency in French a strong asset.
The intern will perform the following tasks:
· Weekly, comprehensive press review of articles from a wide
variety of sources on Africa
· Research and edit articles about UNDP’s work in Africa
· Contribute to a bi-monthly “UNDP in Africa” newsletter
· Assist in a number of additional tasks, including revisions to
the content on
www.undp.org/africa

internship
· Internship is home-based
· Duration and working hours to be discussed.
