Fortunately, I transferred to Bhaktapur from the bus station
directly when I came back from Pokhara in the early morning. What's
more, I booked a historic guest house, where it is just in the
center of the world cultural heritage site.

The guest house is just a few steps away from the Durbar Square, which is the biggest one of three ancient cities in Nepal even though it was destroyed in the earthquake in 1934.
In fact, the Durbar Square means the palace square. The Royal
Palace was built in 15th century with 55 windows for emperor's
wives and concubines to watch outside world.
There are many temples around the Durbar Square such as
Fasidega Temple, Siddhi Lakshmi Tmeple, Pashupati Temple, each of
them has fabulous architecture and delicate
carving.
Many families make a living by pottery sector around the
Pottery Square, so it is interesting to watch local artisans doing
their handcrafts.
Taumadhi Square/陶马迪广场 is close to the Durbar Square and one of
its landmarks is the Nyatapola Temple/尼亚塔波拉神庙, which is the highest
Hindu Temple of Nepal.

A lot handcraft shops are scattered around these attractive
squares.
Tachupal Square/塔丘帕广场 had been the center of the city before the
Durbar Square was built. Many old buildings have been refurbished
into restaurants, bars or shops.

Changu Narayan/昌古纳拉扬神庙 built in the 4th century is also the world cultural heritage site, which is located at the hill top.
so big and deep well

Happened to enjoy the wedding parade hilariously.

Surprised to see so many participants to play the chess on the street.

80% Nepalese believe in Hinduism, so it is easy to see the religious ritual around the temples.
