The 4th Cultural Forum of China & France was hold
successfully in Nice, France on Oct. 6-9, 2019. The forum is a
high-level premium platformt to exchange culture, education, movie,
art and technology between two nations, which attracted over 300
participants from China and France.
Mr. Li Jie, the director of Suhzou Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Broadcast and Tourism, delivered a wonderful keynote speech on the themed panel disscussion to introduce three good examples of the integration of culture and tourism.
Mr. Chen Ruijin, vice director of Suzhou Municipal Bureau of
Cultural Relics, gave a wonderful sharing on the other panel
discussion.
Suzhou is the city to sposor the 5th Cultural Forum of China & France in 2020, so we implemented the Suzhou Day to show what it looks like on Oct. 9th.
We worried about the weather at 8:00am in the early morning, which seemed to rain, but fortunately, it turned into sunshine quickly.
The guests were excited to sign their names on the Chinese traditional scrolls with the brush in the registration.
The most touching was many guests had arrived earlier before our event started.
Mr. Raffarin, the former primer of France, was addressing the openning remarks.
Over 200 participants attended the Suzhou Day.
Mr. Li Yiping was interviewed by a lot of international medium, so Suzhou must be exposed highly.
French were surprised to watch so exquisite Suzhou embroidery, silk tapestry, oliver pit carving, mahogany furniture, Su-style fan and so on.
The performers of Ku opera, Suzhou Pingtan and artists were warmly welcomed by medium and guests, who chased for any chance to take photos with the performers.
He delivered a passionate speech to invite all guests on the spot to Suzhou.
We held one more culture & tourism promotional event in Paris on Oct. 10th in order to influence more French to Suzhou.
Pay many thanks for our mayor because his opening remarks introduced Suzhou so vividly. What's more, as a mayor, he had a lot impact on medium and travel agenices.
Ku opera and Suzhou Pingtan are two unique culture icons of Suzhou. French were intoxicated by their elegance and beauty.

French were proactive to ask and answer questions after our presentation.
Futhermore, some of them were eager to share what we had learnt from the event.
Some of them listened very carefully and wrote down something in the process of our presentation.
The Youth Forum was one of my favourite parts. I was impressed
by what twelve young artists discussed.

chairman of China people's congress, Mr. Raffarin, the former
primer of France, Mr. Li Yaping, the Suzhou mayor, were fascinated
by the Suzhou culture performance on the stage.

About 50 meidum and travel agencies were attracted to attend
the event in Paris.
The events were completed, but the influence still
extands.....We received many positive reports, which improved a big
success of our events in France.
