Bali is one of the most popular destinations for Chinese. I
have been to Bali for one week since over 10 years ago, and this
time, I just stayed overnight and transferred to
Jakarta.
I felt hot, humid, crowded and noisy immediately when I
reached Bali. Denpasar is the capital city of Bali. The bus stopped
at Denpasar bus station and I had to take taxi to my
hotel.
To be surprised, there were no any taxis on streets. I had to
communicate with private drivers, so you could image the cost was
too high. Finally, I shared one private car with three other
people, but the driver asked me more extra money after he drove for
a while.
I argued with him, but he insisted charging more of me. I thought I met a cheater, so I asked him to stop the car to let me get off. He did and I had to walk to my hotel.
Fortunately, I passed by many interesting Buddhism temples
alongside the streets. Most local people believe in Muslin in
Indonesia, but it is totally different in Bali, where local people
believe in Buddhism.
One hour later, I found my booked Home-Inn. The staff were so
friendly and helpful that they introduced me the surroundings when
I checked in.
I walked out and found one lovely restaurant operated by an
Australian guy with his wife to have my dinner. He told me his
emotional story. He traveled to Bali fifteen years ago and happened
to fall in love with a native girl, so he decided to settle down in
Bali with his wife.
I walked to Jimbaran beach at 5:00 am in the following
morning. The sea seemed vast & peaceful and I indeed enjoyed
such these tranquil moments. Many fishermen were starting to work
in a new day.

Fortunately, I met Lili and Rob,
one couple from Holland, when I had my breakfast. They had been
staying in Bali for three weeks, but they had never been to China.
So I didn't want to miss this chance to introduce Suzhou and other
cities of China to them. They were so interested in my introduction
that they promised they must go to visit China in the following
future. What's more, I told them how to book their flights and
hotels on the Ctrip App if they decided to visit
China.
One family was having their breakfast in the dinning room when
I talked with Lili and Bob. I loved their cute son so much.
I like children very much, so I asked his parents' permission
to hug him for a while. They did and I really had a short pleased
time with him.
Lili and Rob told me some local restaurants opposite
Jimbaran Open Seafood Market could offer barbecue service
with a little charge. Luckily, I found them and had a big lunch at
one of them.
I walked back to the Home-Inn after the lunch. I packed up, checked out, and asked the Home-Inn staff to help me order a motor taxi to Ngurah Rai International Airport. I noticed a cute pet dog in the lobby.

The driver picked me up on time and I reached the airport just
ten minutes later.
I didn't know there was one hour's time difference between Bali and Jakarta, so I arrived at Jakarta International Airport one hour earlier than I planned. In meanwhile, I was glad to see the festive pavilion to celebrate Chinese New Year 2019 in the airport before I left Indonesia for China.
