Pathways has become the popular educational system of toastmasters since it was debuted on May 3^rd 2018. It is indeed a big plan how to make all members start their path learning as soon as possible.

In Training the Trainer, Dr. Jeff led us to discuss what our challenge was when we introduced Pathways to our members in clubs, divisions or district and instructed us how to deal with these issues.

What challenges are we facing?

1. Pathways is a new educational system, but many members get used to traditional one, so most of senior members have no interests to start the Pathways.

2. As one kind of education, Pathways is too much technical to understand because it is so boring.

3. Pathways should be introduced at least half an hour according to the demanding of D85. In fact, the time is so long that most of members often lose their patience during the training.

How can we cope with the challenges?

1.  Urge senior members to just do it quickly because the traditional educational system will be expired in two years.

2. Try to make sense the competencies we learn from the Pathways can be transformed into make our career more successful and life happier.

3. The Max training time should be less than 18 minutes like TED.

4. Divide trainees into several small groups, encourage them to discuss, and give them a chance to share.

All in all, we are happy to learn a lot from the training the trainer workshop led by Dr. Jeff.
