Kun Opera/昆曲 was formed over 600 years ago in China and had been very popular especially during the Ming and Qing Dynasties so that it has been called the mother of all other operas in China. What's more, it was listed one of the first world intangible cultural heritages by UNESCO in 2001 because of its treasure of art.

The Humble Administrator's Garden is also prompting Kun Opera and it performs twice times (10:00 am/14:00 pm) in a day and 7 days in a week, 1 hour for each time.

Tourists can watch a short dramatic performance of Kun Oprea in the Master-of-Nets Garden at nights from late March to November every day in a year.

Last but not least, more and more young people would like to watch Kun Opera at the tea house at Pingjiang road, where famous teacher Lv performs twice everyday.
