Guilin/桂林 is one of the most popular tourist destinations in China, which is well-known for its stunning natual landscapes especially mountain & water. But I would like to introduce the downtown of Guilin rather than the famous Lijiang/漓江 today.

The downtown of Guilin is embraced by Two Rivers and Four Lakes/两江四湖 including Lijiang, Peach flower river/桃花江 and Mulong Lake/木龙湖, Rong lake/榕湖, Gui Lake/桂湖 and Shan Lake/杉湖.

Most of main attractions have been connecting with these Two Rivers and Four Lakes such as Elephant Hill in Lijiang and Twin Towers in Shan Lake.

It is best way for tourists to take boats to experience Two Rivers and Four Lakes in the daytime or at nights. It almost takes two hours to travel around by the boats. 

There are 14 different bridges across Two Rivers and Four Lakes. Tourists can hop on or hop off optionally at some wharfs.

The night views are very colorful, which are totally different from the daytime.

Tourists can enjoy some historical or artistic performances along Two Rivers and Four Lakes.

The tourists would like to take the boats even though they have to queue in a long line at nights.
